Overview
Rebolt's QuickBooks Online integration syncs your accounting data automatically — clients, invoices, payments, and deposits flow from Rebolt into QuickBooks so your books stay current without manual data entry.
The sync is one-way: Rebolt → QuickBooks Online. Data created or updated in Rebolt pushes to QuickBooks; changes made directly in QuickBooks do not sync back to Rebolt.
Where to Find It
Go to Settings → System → Connections → QuickBooks.
Click Connect QuickBooks to begin the setup flow.
Setup Steps
The setup wizard walks through 8 configuration steps. You only do this once:
Connection — Authorize Rebolt and confirm your QuickBooks company. You'll log into your QuickBooks account and grant Rebolt permission to sync.
Accounting — Pick your default income account and tax policy for synced transactions.
Clients — Match existing Rebolt clients to QuickBooks customers and set rules for how new clients are created in QuickBooks.
Items — Choose a fallback service item to use for invoice lines that don't match an existing QuickBooks item.
Invoices — Set the sync scope (which invoices sync) and how line items reconcile to totals in QuickBooks.
Payments — Map Rebolt payment methods (card, ACH, cash, check) to QuickBooks payment methods and decide when payments post.
Deposits — Point payouts and processor fees to the right QuickBooks accounts.
Adjustments — Decide how refunds, ACH returns, and chargebacks post in QuickBooks.
Tip: Have your QuickBooks chart of accounts open in another tab during setup — you'll be selecting account names for income, deposits, and adjustments.
