Overview

Rebolt’s Quote feature streamlines your sales process by allowing you to generate branded proposals directly from a Deal or Contact record. By keeping quotes inside the CRM, you can track customer engagement in real-time and automate pipeline updates the moment a deal is signed.

Getting Started: Create a Quote

To start a new quote, navigate to the specific Deal or Contact record you are working with and click the Create New dropdown. You can also select the Quote option from the Global "+" button, the Quotes Dashboard, or the Activity Feed.

  1. Locate the Quotes Module: On the right-hand sidebar, click the + Create Quote button.

  2. Select a Template: Choose a pre-saved template or start from a Blank Quote.

  3. Verify Details: Rebolt automatically pulls in Contact and Company data. Double-check these for accuracy before moving to the next step.

Building Your Proposal

Once the quote is initiated, you can add your products and services:

  • Product Library: Click Add Product to pull items from your pre-defined price list (includes SKU, description, and price).

  • Custom Line Items: Use Add Custom Item for one-off services or bespoke pricing.

  • Discounts & Tax: Adjust quantities per line. Apply a discount by clicking the % icon on a specific item or add a global discount at the bottom.

  • Branding: Toggle the header image on/off and add your standard legal language in the Terms and Conditions box.

Sending and Tracking

Before sending, click Preview in the top right to see the customer’s view.

  1. Publish & Send: Clicking this locks the quote to prevent accidental edits while the customer reviews it.

  2. Share the Link: You can send the secure URL directly through the Rebolt email composer or copy the link to send via your own channels.

  3. Engagement Tracking: You will receive a notification the moment a customer opens the quote. The status will update from Sent to Viewed in your CRM dashboard.

The Customer Experience & Signing

Your customer receives a link to an interactive portal (not a static PDF) where they can:

  • Review: See high-level totals and detailed line-item descriptions.

  • E-Sign: If enabled, customers can type or draw their signature to legally bind the agreement.

  • Accept/Decline: Formal buttons at the top and bottom capture their final decision instantly.

Post-Approval Automation

Once a quote is Accepted, Rebolt can handle the heavy lifting:

  • Convert to Invoice: With one click, port all quote data into a billing record to avoid manual entry.

  • Auto-Update Deal Stage: Set a rule in CRM Settings > Automations to automatically move Deals to "Closed Won" upon signature.

  • Recall to Draft: If a customer needs a revision after the quote is sent, use "Recall to Draft" to unlock the editor and update the terms.

FAQ

  • Can I download a quote as a PDF?
Yes. Both you and your customer can click the Download PDF icon on the quote page at any time.

  • What happens if a quote expires?
By default, links expire after 30 days (customizable in Settings). If expired, the customer will see a prompt to contact you for a new version.
