How to Share Access to your Domain on Cloudflare

Follow these steps to share admin access with Rebolt through Cloudflare.

Updated over a month ago

Short Answer:

In Cloudflare, navigate Accounts → Select your Domain → Manage account → Members, click Invite, enter our email ([email protected]), choose a role with DNS access (see below), review, and Invite.
We’ll accept and handle the DNS updates for launch.

Overview:

Granting Rebolt access to your Cloudflare account lets us safely update DNS (A/CNAME) so your domain points to your new Rebolt website. Your old site isn’t deleted, it just won’t use the domain once DNS is updated.

Steps: Invite Rebolt To Your Cloudflare Account

  1. Log into the Cloudflare Dashboard.

  2. Go to Members (Manage account → Members).

  3. Click Invite.

  4. Invite members: enter [email protected].

  5. Scope: select the account and/or the specific zone (domain) you want us to manage.

  6. Roles: choose a role that includes DNS management (DNS, Administrator, Super Administrator)

  7. Click Continue to summary, review, then Invite.

Recommended Role & Scope:

  • Role:

    • DNS (preferred minimal access) or

    • Administrator

    • Super Administrator

  • Scope: Limit to the specific domain/zone we’re launching if you manage multiple domains.

We only use this access to update DNS for your Rebolt site and verify everything is live.

What We’ll Do With Access:

  • Update A/CNAME records to point your domain to your Rebolt website.

  • Verify propagation and confirm your site is live at your brand URL.

Troubleshooting:

  • Didn’t receive the invite? Check spam for Cloudflare emails, then from Members click Resend next to the pending invite.

  • Wrong scope/role? Edit the member on the Members page to adjust Scope or Role.

  • Still stuck? Send a screenshot of your Members screen to Support and we’ll guide you.
