Overview

Project Geotagging adds location signals to your completed project posts and displays them on an interactive map across your Rebolt website.

This helps Google understand your real service areas, strengthens local SEO signals, and builds trust with potential customers by showing real projects near them.

✅ This feature is included in the Rebolt Premium package

How Project Geotagging Works

When publishing a project through Rebolt’s Social Media Manager, you’ll be prompted to enter a location (city or address).

Rebolt automatically:

  • Retrieves location data from your completed project posts

  • Places those projects on a dynamic, interactive map

  • Connects each map point to real project content

These maps are then displayed across key pages of your website to reinforce local SEO signals and internal linking.

Where Project Locations Appear

Project maps are automatically shown on:

  • Homepage

  • Service pages

  • Service area pages

  • Project pages

By surfacing projects across multiple pages, Rebolt creates strong internal links to your project pages and improves your overall site structure.

Note: The Geotag module will appear in service area pages and service pages that have been tagged on a project.

Privacy & Customer Protection

Customer privacy is fully protected:

  • Project locations are randomly shifted up to 1,000 feet

  • Exact addresses are never displayed

  • No personally identifiable information is shown

Visitors see general job proximity, not exact locations.

Why This Helps You Win More Jobs

Project Geotagging improves both visibility and trust:

  • ✅ Shows Google you actively work throughout your service area

  • 📈 Helps your pages rank higher in local search results

  • 🤝 Builds trust by showing real projects near potential customers

  • 🔗 Improves indexing of project pages through internal linking

Google considers how many pages on your site reference and link to a page.

When project pages are surfaced across your site, they are more likely to be discovered, indexed, and ranked.
