Short Answer
In Bluehost, navigate to your profile → Accounts & Users, click Manage → + Add User, enter [email protected], choose a role that allows DNS management, and Invite. We’ll accept and handle DNS updates for launch.
Overview
Adding Rebolt as a user in Bluehost lets us safely update your DNS (A/CNAME) so your domain points to your new Rebolt website. Your old site isn’t deleted after DNS changes; it simply no longer uses the domain.
Steps: Invite Rebolt As a User
Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
Click the profile icon (top-right) → Accounts & Users.
Next to the account, click Manage.
Scroll to User Roles & Permissions → click + Add User.
Enter:
Name: Rebolt
Email: [email protected]
Select the Role (Admin).
Click Invite.
Bluehost will email the invite. After we accept, we’ll appear on your Users & Roles list.
Recommended Role & Permissions
Choose a role that grants Domains/DNS access (often Admin or a custom role with DNS permissions).
If you manage multiple products, ensure the role covers the domain/zone we’re launching.
We only use this access to configure DNS for your Rebolt site and confirm everything is live.
What We’ll Do With Access
Update A/CNAME records to point your domain to your Rebolt website.
Verify propagation and confirm the site is live at your brand URL.
Send a brief change log of what was updated.
Troubleshooting
Invite not received? Re-send from Accounts & Users → Manage → Users & Roles and have us check spam.
Wrong role? Edit the user and grant a role with DNS permissions.
Can’t find the menu? Make sure you’re in Account Manager → Accounts & Users, not just the cPanel file manager.
