How To Share Access To Your Domain On GoDaddy

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Short Answer

In GoDaddy navigate to Account Settings → Delegate Access, click Invite to Access, enter [email protected], choose an access level with Domains/DNS permissions, and Invite. We’ll accept and handle DNS updates for launch.

Overview

Delegating access lets Rebolt safely update your DNS (A/CNAME) so your domain points to your new Rebolt website. Your old site isn’t deleted—after DNS changes, it simply won’t use your domain.

Steps: Invite Rebolt via Delegate Access

  1. Click on your user icon (Top right)

  2. Go to Account Settings → Delegate Access

  3. Under People who can access my account, select Invite to Access.

    select invite to access
  4. Enter:

    select check box
  5. Select an Access level (Products & Domains ).

    select access level
  6. Click Invite.

  7. We’ll receive an email and accept the invitation. You’ll get a confirmation from GoDaddy.

Recommended Access Level

  • Products & Domains (or equivalent) so we can edit DNS.

We only use this access to configure DNS for your Rebolt site and verify everything is live.

What We’ll Do With Access

  • Update A/CNAME DNS records to point your domain to your Rebolt website.

  • Verify propagation and confirm your site is live at your brand URL.

Troubleshooting

  • Invite not received? Ask GoDaddy to Resend the invitation; have us check spam.

  • Wrong access level? Edit the delegate’s permissions to include Domains/DNS.

  • Multiple domains? Tell us which domain to launch, or grant access to each domain you want us to manage.

  • Can’t find Delegate Access? From GoDaddy, open Account Settings → Delegate Access.
