Website → Photos (Photo Library)

Your central place to upload, organize, and reuse photos across your Rebolt site — with sections per service for easy browsing.

Article Content:

Overview

The Photos page (left nav: Website → Photos; page header reads "Photo Library") keeps all of your visuals in one spot so you can quickly add them to pages, posts, testimonials, and more. Photos are organized into sections — one for general images and one per service — so they're easy to find.

Layout: Grid + Sections Sidebar

The Photo Library is split into two areas:

  • Image grid (left) — a tile view of every photo in the currently selected section. Each tile shows the upload date overlaid on the image.

  • Sections sidebar (right) — switch between groups of images:

    • General Images — the catch-all bucket for photos not yet tagged to a specific service.

    • Service-specific sections — one section per service you've added (e.g., Mechatronic Garage Doors, Aging in Place Remodeling, Garage Door Installation). These are auto-created from your Services & Areas setup.

Click any section in the sidebar to filter the grid to just that section's photos.

Upload Media

Two buttons in the top-right control uploads:

  • Upload Photos (orange) — open a file picker and select images from your device. Uploaded images are immediately available in the Site Editor and your Social Media Manager.

  • If your Facebook account is connected to the Social Media Manager, an Import From Facebook button also appears here, letting you pull existing Facebook photos into your library.

Manage Media

Click any photo in the grid to open its details panel:

  • Edit Image Attributes — tag the photo to one or more services (which moves/copies it into the matching section in the sidebar).

  • Alt Text — Rebolt auto-generates Alt Text for accessibility and SEO. You can edit it if needed.

  • Delete — permanently remove the photo from your Photo Library.

Use Media On Your Site

Anywhere you can add an image — Site Editor, blog posts, testimonials, hero sections, service pages, social posts — click Open Gallery (or the equivalent image picker) to pull from the Photo Library.

Since photos are auto-grouped into sections, choosing the right image for a service page is fast: open the gallery, pick the matching section, select the photo.

Pro Tips

  • Tag photos as you upload. The service-specific sections only fill up if you actually tag photos — taking 5 seconds per upload to tag pays off the next time you build a service page.

  • Use real job photos over stock. Photos of actual completed work outperform stock imagery for both conversion and local SEO.

  • Refresh the Alt Text on hero images. Auto-generated alt text is fine but a specific description ("Garage door installed at Smith residence, Marietta GA") helps both accessibility and SEO.

  • Clean up periodically. Delete blurry, duplicate, or outdated photos so the gallery stays useful.
